GlutenTrace is made by Renmel, a family-run project. By using the app you accept the terms on this page.

The app shows information about gluten in food products. It is information, not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for reading the package or for advice from your doctor or a dietitian.

Product data comes from Open Food Facts, a community-maintained database, and from label readings. Ingredient lists change and databases lag behind, so the information can be incomplete or out of date. The app tells you how old its information is and says when an answer is uncertain. You use the app at your own risk, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of what it shows.

If you submit a product or a label reading, you confirm that you photographed the packaging yourself and you allow us to check the reading and add it to the database.

Pro is an optional paid subscription. Purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple through your App Store account.
